King of the Jungle

Come to the ALLSTAR CHALLENGE’s King of the Jungle and experience the beastly competition as teams roar and rumble in our new, even larger location. Boasting the slogan "You will shine here!" the new Raleigh Convention Center was the natural choice to host this allstar event.

With a population of over 405,000, Raleigh is the second largest city in the Carolinas. It is also the fastest growing major city in the state, adding more than 10,000 residents annually. Raleigh has been nicknamed the “Smithsonian of the South” for its variety of world-class museums that are among the biggest and best in the Southeast. The state’s museums of art, history, and natural sciences offer programs and exhibits for people of all ages. In 2009, 2.5 million people visited Downtown Raleigh for conventions, museums, the performing arts and special events.

King of the Jungle begins on Saturday afternoon (approximately 1pm) with Round 1 of team competition in cheerleading & dance. Teams will be able to drive in on Saturday morning due to the later start time and therefore save on one night of hotel stay. It concludes on Sunday with Round 2 and the awarding of up to 30 specialty awards, National Champion awards in every division, and the All Star signature trophies.
