Queen of the Nile
Amidst the gently rolling hills along the Ohio River, Greater Cincinnati spreads from the southwestern corner of Ohio into Northern Kentucky and southeastern Indiana. The city is located about mid-point on the shoreline of the 981-mile long Ohio River. There are 77.2 square miles in the city itself. The metropolitan Cincinnati population is 1,900,000.
Duke Energy Center has undergone and completed a $135 million convention center expansion, renovation and reconfiguration since the groundbreaking in April 2004. Officially open to the public on June 22, 2006, the expansion means Cincinnati can now accommodate 75 percent of the existing convention, conference and meeting market across the United States.
Queen of the Nile begins on Saturday with Round 1 of team competition in both cheer and dance. It concludes on Sunday with Round 2 and the awarding of up to 30 specialty awards, National Champion awards in every division, All Star Challenge signature trophies, and $1000’s of dollars to Grand Champions for each level. Come see who will be crowned Queen of the Nile.
